Murang drumsticks na okey?

Matapos ng isang taon ay naubos na ang aking stock ng Zildjian 5A Rock sticks.  300 lang per pair ang bili ko noon (naka-sale kasi), pero nalaman ko na halos 600 ang isang pares ngayon!

Kelangan ko na ng alternative.... Aling drumsticks ngayon ang may 5A/5B in "rock sizes", pero papatak pa rin sa (around) 300 ang presyo?

I called Yupangco, and Nova 5B "rock" sticks are below 300.  Might try these out.  Anyone have bad things to say about Nova sticks?

(Yes, I should try them out and find one that is right for me, pero I'm kinda in a hurry... may gig ako later, and I'm stuck in the office til 5.)

bro,matibay tlaga nova,parang vic firth okay na yan  tested na,better than lazer sticks,as in sobrang mas maganda,and sobrang tibay nyan sir  yun lng po

I second the Nova's. I use their Rock Sticks, and they're pretty sturdy! It's a very good buy considering it's only about 275 a pair.

249 pesos lang po ito sa yupanx. matibay yung mga "rock" sticks..

oks yung nova.  Matibay.  Yun nga lang mahirap maghanap ng perfect pair.  Magka-iba yung pitch ng sticks.  Sa bagay, mga nagamit ko an zildjian ganun din.  Yung consistent na nagamit ko ay yung Vic firth (1 pair lang nagamit ko).

Pero oks yung Nova tlaga for its price.  Sana meron syang size 7

btw, vater are pretty sturdy sticks and mura i think i got all my sticks for 300 per pop

Heavier than your usual for practice is advised..then your normal weight for gigs..I suggest medium-light weighted if your a hard hitter and a bit heavier if your a soft hitter..para ma neutralize yung projection

You can get a dozen at roughly the same price of 2 pairs of Zildjian sticks.

I got 2 pairs of Nova Rock sticks for P250 each. For those who aren't familiar, "Rock" sizes are 2B, but 1-2cm longer.

Big sticks, big sound.

Tibay nga. Either my technique is getting better or these sticks are really durable.

Parang balanced in ang weight, considering that I'm extremely right-handed. And pitch doesn't really matter to me coz both my bands play distorted guitars.

I've switched brands na. Nova does it for me.

for players with managed stick control/mastered stick technique (like you sir ) this is the way to go..

yung suggestion ko pang strengthen lang naman and to balance volume

pinaka mura na ok .... for me century 5b sa rj music store definitly mas maganda kesa sa lazer sticks for only 190 pesos yahoooooooooo.... kung di pa pumasa try mo din yung jhonny rab..... dw sticks f9or only 250 pesos .... diba  sa lyric no makikita yan

Nova 7A bumili ako sa states $40 yata for 12 pairs. ok nman quality at feel compared sa mga zildjian na nagamit ko IMHO

para sakin mas aus kesa nova,
nova kc parang hollow ang loob,
yung lazer na hickory firm, kahit na malakas mag rim shot yung mga kasama ko ndi bumabaon at nag chichip kagad yung stick

personally,
i could have this sticks(the one with the green box) compared with zildjans,
kc ganda ng finish, pulido, i dunno for those who tried this already, but i think i'll be stick to these pairs for only 230 pesos,
