dagdag lang, nasa iyo yan kung anong klaseng sound gusto mo. kaya sila gumagawa ng mga 2b, 5a, 7a, brush sticks, timbale sticks, etc.
You can use anything to play your drums with, as a matter of fact. You can use your shoes if you really like the sound they produce (and if you're comfortable).
tama to. i saw the red hot chili peppers' drummer use his hands in recording this one track way back.. :-D

Talaga?!  Hindi ko alam yun ah.  P250/pair.  Matibay nga but there are pairs na isang gamitan lang bali na kagad.  Siguro may defect yung nabili ko once but mostly ok naman.  Thanks for the info. :-)

yung gumagamit ng butt eh mga hard rock. yung tip and butt combination eh unbalance yata yun, well kung gagamitin mo yun to control velocity ok lang.

meron akong nabasa dati, baliktad talaga ung sa left stick ni portnoy, he likes getting a beefier snare sound.

Hindi kaya mabutas ang heads at magasgas at magdent ang mga cymbals pag butt ng sticks ang gamit?

May possibility siguro.....kasi you'll tend to change your normal grip pag binaligtad mo yung stick at di ka na dependent sa rebound.

The best thing to do is use the right size of stick if you want a meatier sound.

Gawin mo nlang dangler ng zipper o keychain yung sirang stick.

portnoy does that. he sometimes plays the stick between the middle finger and the ring finger.

It doesn't matter what you hit your heads or cymbals with. It doesn't matter how some famous person uses a certain type of projectile to hit their drums. Drums are percussion... they're made to be hit, so hit them, but hit them properly.  Use a remote control, for argument's sake... nobody should stop you. Even forumites.

Also, kung mali ang technique, mabubutas ang heads at magdedent ang cymbals kahit head ng sticks ang gamitin.

But technique's a topic for another thread. :)

Like most light and thin-profile cymbals, K Custom crashes should be played with proper care and technique.
