Ever heard of this band? A mix of jazz, soul, R&B, and other stuff mixing into a really good easy listening sound

yep, these guys are good, just a 3-piece band of keyboards, bass and drums and yet they sound so thick and smooth...hehe

Smooth. Very easy listening. Saka yung vocalist nila nababagayan talaga niya yung mga kanta nila, from yung mga upbeat na jazzy hanggang sa mga rnb-ish na mababagal hehe.

sa odyssey ata or tower sir, hindi ko na maalala. hehe. 2 ung album talga nila na meron ako, yung may talk n talk & yung may do i need a reason(can't remember the albums, tape pa kasi yun eh.  ) yung pang 3rd, best of d'sound(cd na nakuha ko. ) smooth escape ata yung title nya.

"Tattooed on my Mind" was everywhere at one point (though maybe the local covers popularized it) . It would be a stretch to call D'Sound a jazz band though... baka more a "jazzy band" that utilizes smooth jazz or acid jazz band influences.

Another pop act that incorporates a lot of "jazziness" would be Swing Out Sister, particularly on their live albums "Live at the Jazz Cafe" and "Live in Japan". Not jazz by a long shot but perfectly listenable nonetheless

D'sound fan here. been looking for their Acoustic Live Sessions CD, particularly the  acoustic version of Smooth Escape.
