ok din sya. very helpful with single ply heads. pero nothing beats trying to get the sound right with your ears. yes mapapantay ng tension watch yung pressure sa heads but hindi nya maririnig yung drum with consideration to the acoustic space where it inhabits. even if pantay na pantay yung pagka piit mo, pero venue ng gig mo bahay ng alumni sa u.p wala rin. the tension watch can't tell you what to do in that situation. but your ears can. Drums are like speakers, in the manufacturers place, a supposed mastering monitor or mixing monitor has  flat response +-2db across the frequency spectrum in an anechoic chamber. pero pag plinay mo nayan sa bahay or studio, good bye flat frequncy response. your room will change the sound of the speaker. to close to a corner the sound will get to bassy, etc. same with a drum. one of the best ways to get a good drum sound in a room is to start with the floor tom. tune it. then  play it around in various location s in your room, when you find the "sweet spot, add your kick, tune it , then your other tom, then your snare.

I agree with sir Zach, nothing beats your ears when laying out your preference of tuning.

But I have found it useful when changing old heads to new ones, when you do find your desired tuning replicating it on new heads is a breeze with this tuners.

anu daw? english na eh hehehehe joking aside, I know the sound I want to get but the even-ness of the tension around the head is what im really after hence the wanting of this gadget, dati ultra low talga yung mga toms ko tapos nung isang araw nagexperiment ako at tnaasan ko sila, suprisingly ok yung tunog my fernando kit now is more resonant. Having a thing like the tension watch would be just a "check" to see if I have even tension on the heads hehehe... I plan on just making one, its cheaper than the tension watch that is 4600php sa audiophile hehehe

baka makatulong ito -- at least sa concept ... kung hindi man available yung mga ginamit nya na parts sa pinas.. pero most likely may makikita tayong katumbas ng mga parts na yan dito :-)
