like the title says, i'm opening the bar on sundays starting next month. i'm trying it for a couple of days. if it yields good results, sundays we'll be open.

the band that's going to perform on that day will be "the group" with ding silverio as the lead singer.

its with jack but not with bagets. he's a great drummer but i had some problems with him.

what's the genre of his band now though? are they rock or pop like neocolors?

who could play in your bar? i guess no "old school" metal bands eh?

the genre of "the group" is rock. they mostly play sting and police songs.

hiphop/rap, heavy metal and punk are the genres that i do not usually book in my bar because i think it doesn't suit the place.

I saw "the Group" many years ago and they struck me as a "Sting coverband" - they did a lot of material from "Ten Summoner's Tales" like Seven Days, etc...  I dropped in at Chakik's and they are still doing Sting! Well that's not too bad considering the great material. Now to find a "Steely Dan cover band" ....

it's okay though...i like sting... maybe we can jam on "message in a bottle"? hehe...

or if they do toto...on "rossanna"?

i might just check the bar sometime :)
