need HELP for my THESIS entitled "L'endroit de Musique: a music school complex"

hi fellow Filipino musicians...

          I'm a 5th yr. Architecture student and having a Thesis entitled "L'endroit de Musique: a

music school complex" my site is along the seaside boulevard beside SM-mall of Asia. In this

thesis i will create a structure where music enthusiast could gather, study, relax, perform

produce music and even invest.


          The complex will consist of school, concert halls, retail shops/concessionaires,

restaurants/bar,  housing facilities and recording studios.  My objectives are as of follows:


1. To establish a music school for Filipino students, musicians, and professionals that will be

competitive on international music industry;


2. To provide a first of its kind musical school complex in the Philippines that will boost the

industry's workforce;


3. To produce world-class creative talent capable of developing music through modern and

contemporary music learnings;


4. To cultivate a supportive learning environment by offering a range of services and activities to

support the needs of the student musicians.



         I was planning to introduce the curriculums offered by international schools such a berklee

and julliard. Since there are lot of conservatory school here in Philippines, i was focusing on

contemporary courses (ex. jimi hendrix Lab 101, stevie ray vaughan ensemble, jazz/rock

improvisation, music synthesis, music engineering/production etc.) which other colleges

doesn't offer. But of course there will be solfege and other basic courses (arranging,

composition, conducting).



I was hoping that this is a feasible thesis... I mean, I'm having random questions in my mind like:

Would there be students/musicians interested to enroll here even though it is not a degree
course but it is accredited in TESDA?


Is there any willing to teach or become the faculty of this school (such as Mar Dizon, Tots Tolentino, Aya Yuson, Johnny Allergre, colby de la Calzada etc.)?


What do other non-music enthusiast will do at my proposed project?

1st question, I think, you should ask is, who exactly is your target customer?

hmm... mga music enthusiast... kunwari mga students or anyone na gusto matuto ng musika, mga

gumradweyt na ng music pero wala sa course curriculum ung offer curriculum ng proposed school

ko para mapalawak pa yung kaalaman nila, mga nais bumili o magpagawa ng musical instruments,

mga musicians/orchstra/band etc. na magpeperform ng concert/ live events o kaya mga rerecord

ng sariling music, mga taong manonood ng concerts, mga matuturo ng musika o maaring local o

international visitor na mag ciclinic etc. sa tingin ko masisimula muna ako sa buong NCR na maaring   

target people ko na maaring makagamit or whatsoever ng aking structure.
