I hate to say it, it sounds like favoritism...

But for me, it surpasses the DS-1 Bakemono in terms of versatility and because the chip can be replaced with better ones, is tonally superior. Of course I'm sure, there will be those that will disagree (right fafa anton ? ). Maybe it's a "to each his own" thing.

Which reminds me, I finished some daughterboards for the IC transplant for DS-1s. Soon, the DS-1 can have the same "tube-sound" chips that I use on my SD1 and Tubescreamer mods.

O sya...here it is. It's still aligned with my old pricing scheme.

Basic mod- P500
Every switch or pot feature, add 200
Change IC - add 200
Change LED - add P100

So there. You can choose which of the features you want.

1. Warp (single or double). Double counts as 2 of course.
2. Fender/Marshall or Fender/Diezel switch
3. Presence control
4. MT2/TS mode switch

All in, a unit like mine will get up to 1.7k . When you add that to 1.8k brandnew price, that's just 3.5k. That's just the price of a Boss DS-1 on the forum, and about half of the price of a brand new MT2.
