ano kaya naging problema? ( power supply/avr..?)

ano kaya nagning problema. last week kasi bigla na lang nag off tapos on ang pc ko. parang nag rerestart.  tapos nung pinapakingan ko galing sa power suply tunog ng kuryente na parang nag spark parang ganun din nangyari sa avr. inisip ko dahil sa kuryente hindi maganda yung pasok dahil parang grounded dahil sa ulan.  1 week ko hindi ginamit pc ko. natatakot kasi ako baka madamay pati yung mother board, hard disk, etc... plano ko pa nga palitan ng power supply at avr. pero nung ginamit ko kanina. ok naman wala na naging problema. hangang ngayon gamit ko pa. hindi ko pa pinapatay. ano ba tingin nyo naging problema last week? dapat ko pa ba palitan avr at power supply ko para sigurado? kasi baka na apektuhan sila nung nag iispark na kuyente na yun..

Kung generic ang PSU mo (came with the case?), I think you should consider replacing it na. Also get a UPS instead of an AVR.

yes sir,may case na kasama. pero ano kaya tinging nyo naging problema? mahal daw UPS dba? nasa 3k daw.. pero safe talaga yun..

yun din ang iniisip ko lately, grabe kasi buga ng hangin dun sa exhaust ng psu eh...maigsi pa mga cables kaya ayun nakaharang sa tapat ng cpu fan yung mobo power cable...

+1 yung rating ng psu mo pati dapat e sapat sa load mo. anuanu ba ang nakalagay sa pc mo at ano ang rating ng psu pati avr mo?

I remember last week lang e may customer kami na nagbalik ng ups, nasunog psu nya pati ups. 600va lang ang binili niyang ups offline pa. nung tinanong ko yung hardware nya e 8 sata 7200, 3 gb na ram, 3.8g na processor di ko na tanung yung buong details kasi alam ko tlgang underated yung ups. yung psu pa nya ay gigabyte na odin ata yung tig 10k. buti hindi nasira yung ibang parts ng pc nya. so ngrecommend nalang kami ng better na ups kasi balak padin daw nyang mgupgrade ngayong parating na november. the ups nga pla is about 1.7k lng and we ended up recommending him a 1500 online ups which is about 30k. Alam ko medyo magastos ito pero power is really important sa mga computers. something to really think about. mas puro mas pabor sa computer nyo.

try mo yun powercom na ups.  yun ang pinakamurang ups na puede na that i've tried.  wala pang 2k yun 600va.

beware of the new models na budget apc, can't remember the model, parang es yata. sometimes it fries the motherboard from what i've heard.  pero i still have my old apc, still works very well

I've been using an APC ES-500 with my Neo2 Platinum for almost 3 years now come December... haven't fried my mobo yet and I haven't replaced the battery to date. One thing you should do with the ES series is to let it go through it's startup diagnostics when you first turn it on, before turning your pc and monitor on, otherwise it will burn itself out. I learned that the hard way in 2004 when the APC was about a month old. It was repaired after 2 weeks but has never failed me since.

tip for you apc users who've got defective batteries:  buy at deeco!  a new battery costs just under 500 pesos.

sad to hear that, I've been using APC ES-500 for about 4 years now. Never failed me yet. But one thing I noticed is that it doesn't provide clean power. Anyway it's just an offline ups.

This is a good FYI... get the full specs of the battery. Make sure that the only thing wrong with the ups is the battery. If it's an internal part get a new ups. Average battery life span is 3-5 years. If it serve you more it's worth the buck

napalitan ko na power supply ko nasunog pala yung wire na pinagkakabitan sa likod ng power supply. kaya pala ang baho amoy sunog. naka dikit na nga eh kasi na tunaw.nasunog at natunaw siguro kasi sa baka nag over heat sa tagal ng pag gamit ko. magdamagan kasi.. pero 450 watz yung nabili ko hindi katulad dati na 500 watz. ok naman siya. wala kasi ako alam sa mga kuryente na yan. pati yung supply na kuryente na kailangan ng cp mo base sa mga nakalagay sa cpu mo.. yung ibang power supply kasi ang mahal eh yung mga branded. yung iba 1k meron pa nga 3k mahigit eh..

ano yang RSun tol? maangas na ba yang 1,500 na ups na yan? may gma nakita ako 3k at 5k mahigit ang gaganda hehe.
