sorry if this may be a bit off topic but... my preamp has got scratchy pots. do i just spray it with wd or do i have to take it to a shop?

If you have the abiity to get to the pots, that's great .

But please don't use WD40, it will make your unit worse. Use Electra Contact Cleaner. Or if you're in a hurry, on a budget or both, use lighter fluid or rubbing alcohol.

His name and numbers are splattered all over Philmusic, more specifically Guitar Central.

Just google his name + philmusic and I'm sure you'll land on his numbers. Use the landline if you can find it, because he's quite difficult to reach by cel.

He's the technician to the stars too . He assembled tube amps for Bamboo.
