Friday the 7th - Hobbit House, first set starts at 10:30pm.

Friday the 14th - Hobbit House

Friday the 28th - Hobbit House

Trying to get folks familiar with Hobbit's new location: M.H. del Pilar cor. Arquiza, Ermita / Malate -- near Plaza Ferguson, one block away from the Ermita Church.

Swing by -- we're usually back-to-back with Grindstone.

Unless I'm mistaken, we're back there on October 5th.

It's just that Hobbit's gotten real comfortable -- elbow room on stage, gear that works, good sound, opportunity to crank the big amps, nearby for most of us, lots of audience room, visits from old friends, regular pwesto every week, chance to develop "a sound"....

I have to say though.... we all miss the QC gang big time, especially the jammers. We keep on hoping you guys can make it over there. By the way, I have "tools" for you....

Yup, Thanks in advance...I really would love to go...will shoot for tonight...JP says he's got a cd or two for me too...am just scared of the long drive home...sometimes not even toothpicks can prop up my eyelids...getting old...

hmmm.... makes me wonder how Dopedeeva gets home... DUIdeeva dapat pangalan niya!

BB - Haha! "QC jammers"... medyo tinamaan ako dun ah. Been trying to sked it for a while but the stars ain't aligning.

Tonight I can't pa rin cuz Jaine is coming back from a weeklong business from HK. I'm also dead tired from chaperoning my kids to Linggo ng Week festivities at school, treating them to lunch, playing around s UP lagoon, etc. etc.

Finally found my way to the new Hobbit House, caught the Blue Rats 2nd set. Nice!

What a nice surprise with the set of Lady High and Alex (Huka)... sweet! rawk n rowl pipol.

Dang that was fun!

Kakoy and Messyhands sat in with us and sounded fantastic switching between a strat into a matchless and a chupipay prs with P90's into a bassman ri. Terrific "open" sounding blues with grit and spank. Great contrast against lefty's dark, greasy tones from a tele into a pedal into a marshall with the tone rolled off. There's something criminal about having that much fun.

Sana maulit....
