To Trade or Not To Trade
« on: May 07, 2016, 02:11:26 AM »
I just need some opinion/advice...

I made a trade deal which i am having 2nd thought.

My items are Ibanez Prestige 2450MZ (Galaxy Black), Blackstar HT20 Studio Combo Amp, Boss GE7 and Boss LS2, all to trade with a 2014 Gibson Les Paul Traditional (Ocean Blue)

Is it a good trade or i am giving up too much?

I only have 1 day to backout as we'll gonna do the trade tommorow, please shed some enlightenment.  :?

TIA

from my opinion, if you like the color ocean blue for a les paul then go ahead, try if the tone's works for you, if not.. talo ka
For me dapat color nang LP is either ebony, red, vintage red, gold top, sunburst red / black. Blue its kinda odd for an LP. Just for my taste..

Only you can answer that. The choice of guitar is a personal decision.

If solely by brand I prefer a Gibson over an Ibanez, but shredders will disagree.

Are you giving up too much? Just compute your gear's value and compare.

depends on the condition of your respective gear also.

I think if its fair, bro. Pero you should really like the guitar
so much that you give up a gig ready rig.

I think the trade is fair.

Pero kung monetary value (cash payment), eh mas nakakamura at puede pa i-low ball ang LP.

Trades happen even if the market value of the items are far apart. The intrinsic value that each party places on the items play a major role too.

The sums of the "values" of each side of the trade is a good starting point.  Ang hirap lang, "value" is relative.  At the end of the day, if both sides see value in what the other has to offer to be at least the value that he /she is giving up then it's as good as fair.  Do you think getting that LP is worth giving up an axe, an amp and two pedals? Ikaw lang makakasagot niyan.  If yes, then pull the trigger and move on.  No time for second thoughts.
