hi folks! alam ko madami nang ganito dito, pero gusto ko lang sana mas malaman na  thread.

lagay na natin dito yung paborito natin OPM artist/band at bakit. pakipaliwanag po ng husto para kapulutan din natin yung opinyon ng isa't isa. madami din naman satin ang hindi masyadong exposed sa pinoy rock(kahit pa mahirap aminin to), ang lawak kasi at ang damidami nang banda, magaling man o hindi, sumikat o hindi, dati o ngayon. sana po detailed yung reason na ilagay natin, para mas enjoy basahin ang posts ng isa't isa.

and sana din po, wala nang tablahan :) kanya kanyang opinyon, kung may gusto sabihin, sana sa polite manner. =)

una na po ako. ang paborito kong opm band ay ang Kapatid. kasi talented sila individually at medyo sucker for friendship(brotherhood) themed songs. Pakiramdam ko kasi, i share their views sa buhay(kung yung sa mga kanta nga nila yung view talaga nila sa buhay). Isa pa, kahit ever changing ang lineup nila, laging fresh yung tunog, and unique para sakin yung style nila na ganun. Isa pa, enjoy din talaga sila panoorin live kasi nakakabuhay ng dugo.=) Trip ko din na sobrang chill nung vibe nila at parang peace lang talaga, maaaring may galit din sa mga kanta nila pero ayos talaga yung pagkakapresent. Pati na din kasi yung mga listeners ng kapatid, normally mga petix people din kaya nagustuhan ko na talaga ng todo kasi ang dami kong naging kaibigan sa pakikinig at panonood sa kanila. =) yun lang. pag-ibig lang!

sa sobrang dami ng trip kong OPM bands, eto lang muna ang malalagay ko (mental block... hehe..):

eraserheads, rivermaya, teeth, after image, the youth, moonstar88 bagetsafonik, pupil, sandwich, the itchyworms, alamid, radioactive sago project, boldstar, cattski, urbandub, sheila and the insects, kiko machine, join the club, giniling festival, orange and lemons, stonefree, sugarfree, ciudad, 7foot jr., marty mcfly, silent sanctuary, wickermoss, wake up your seatmate, pumping pluto (ehem ehem!  :-D), the pin-up girls, etc....

pero sa ngayon, mas gusto ko pakinggan yung mga indie bands. napaka-fresh kasi ng sounds ng iba eh.  :-D

Sound  - albums (Bossa Manila and Blue Monsoon)

They sound really fresh.  If you wanna take a break from rock or aggressive music, try listening to them.  Sach writes good lyrics, melodies are really nice and techinical din sila.  Seen them live a few times, astig talaga, lalo na pag kumpleto sila.  Ang alam ko regular sila sa Saguijo ngayon :)

Advent Call, POT, Razor Back, Wolfgang, Death by Stereo, Parokya ni Edgar (hehehe) uy pinakingan ko din sila nung elementary ako noh I thing when I was grade 5 or 6. tagal na pala nila... Hmmm anu pa ba??? Pinikpikan, 18th issue (pero di sumikat) madami pa eh..

ang alam ko wala na sa pinas si mike turner, kase diba kaya lang sya andito e para mag missions, tapos nag end na yata yung stay nya dito or ibang mission field na pinuntahan nya. im not 100% sure though. sayang nga e, sobrang bangis pa naman ng bahista nun, lupit mag solo..... as for PIGS hope makita ko sila ulit live, first and last time ko sila napanood was almost ten years ago...lupit ng tugtog..Secret Christian Man, astig na song....parang may napansin akong post ng isa sa mga member ng pigs dito sa philmusic, nde ko lang maalala kung saan...

Yeah I thought I saw one of it's members posting here. Dun ko nakuha link to their site. Ganda ng songs and the way it was arranged. I bet ganda rin ng studio nila. :-D
