More Pics for your viewing pleasure -- cheers:

Its in the Case!!!

Waverly Iveroids -- Never knew what they were until my luthier told me that they were the best tuners.  Nice Ebony overlay though.  Hint of the Dark Braz Rose Fingerboard

Back headstock view with Waverly and Mr. Buzz Feiten

Full Frontal Nudity...

What a teardrop!!!  Looks weird and doesn't feel right.   Good thing it will be covered up most of the time.  I love the heel.  I believe more guitars should have that heel -- one of the best innovations in neck to body joints ever.

Close in shot of the P90 Lollars (the best P90s on Earth?  -- we shall see, was not really too hot about his single coils) and the Aluminum Pigtail Intonable Tailpiece (My favorite hardware upgrade for Les Paul Type Guitars)  -- Pretty Gold Bell Knobs though

More marketing hype -- it got me hooked -- but am still skeptical:
"The Earth presented on the right is just a very interesting and special instrument. Think of the sounds of Leslie West or Townshend in the 60s who all where Special P-90 players. But now think of a guitar that plays incredible ! This was the problem with those guitars, they sounded cool, but did not tune well or play well. Why ? In my opinion players where trying to use a budget line guitar as a pro instrument. They were not meant to be professional grade guitars.

Enter the Baker Earth. Now you have the tone, the MORE classic sounds with 3 P-90s to select from and INCREDIBLE playability ! Do not wait this guitar is begging to go home and be plugged into a plexi or a tweed and just have your jaw and ears drop !

This guitar as all Bakers are purely magical instrument that are worthy of a lifetime of playing. You pull this out at a gig, you plug it in at a recording session, you play it at home and you will be seeing and hearing a instrument that only few have seen, heard or played on the planet."

Extreme,

Thanks... Long time no talk.

Phoenix,

You are right.

Remains to be seen if I can adjust the pickups down further.  If not, lets yank it out Malcolm Young style... Heh Heh.

Lahed,

Pa-dating pa lang next week. Will find out... but I think mas classic rock ito at blues.

Alex

Uuyyy!  Congrats on the new toy.  I personally don't like the look of the Earth, but I bet that it'll have a killer sound!  Despite my tone deafness and just plain deafness (in one ear lang naman), I noticed a small difference between Korina and mahogany.  It's not that one is better than the other... just different.

Oh, next go for the XS 3X3!

PRSman,

Thanks.  Di ko na kaya na isa pang Baker.  Medyo drained ako ngayon.

Though I requested for a quote on a custom super strat with Skyway Tremolo...

Thanks Embot and Carabao.  Though until the actual unit arrives, I cannot say anong mas maganda aesthetically.

Still when it comes to fiinishes similar to Dark bursts, I still go for Vhunters Baker#59.  Galing kasi ang flame sa gitna ng Dark Burst niyon parang silk cloth ripples.

Its as incredible as the #55 if not more so in some areas.  Detailed review to follow.  This guitar just screams and eats Tele Customs for breakfast...

Even those Tele Customs you HAVEN'T heard or tried?  Even my $200 Squier?  Just being put in the same sentence as a Baker, I suddenly felt prouder of my Tele Custom.  :-D

Soundclips naman dyan.  P90 pa naman... oh well, sayang.   :-D

Hehe... I wonder which Tele Customs -- maraming new Tele Custom owners dito sa Pinas and I'm sure they're wondering why their Tele Custom will suddenly be eaten for breakfast by a Baker. Odd, apples and oranges, comparison.  Wonder where it's coming from.... ?

Congrats on yours. I hope you are as happy with it as we Tele Custom owners our with our $200 investment. I think the "bang for the buck" factor on these guitars are hard to beat.
