A moment in Philmusic.com's History: The site domain was registered in December 1996. We are at most, probably one of the longest running Philippine websites around!
Been chatting to a friend who's working in macau at present and he said Tom lee-macau is open now, though price are higher compared to the main branch in HK and its a small shop practically with limited stocks.
Ferry fare to HK is at around $168HK one way, sometimes cheaper.
+ taxi fare pa. i don't know my way around Kowloon. i think i'll be using up at least Php3k just by going back and forth between Macau and HK..
Well if you don't have a tight budget then i guess its worth the trip..and if you happen to be there during the sale period then its even better.
Perhpas visiting or even contacting them on their website would help.http://www.tomleemusic.com/tlm/home/Home.asp?lang=en
That's actually one problem, even my friend had a hard time getting infos from the store salesmen cause it seems, they try to ignore you if you don't speak their language. Tom lee sales are indeed remarkable, perhaps my chinese friends could help us out with the schedules, will be posting updates here once i get the infos..
last time i checked they had a nice mim buddy guy strat for around 28k. best guitar i tried there. the others were all duds. some decent mexi strats and crappy american standards good luck on your trip bro! hope you get a good axe!
I suggest you take the ferry to Hong Kong (Kowloon) and visit the Tom Lee branch at Cameron Lane instead. The stocks in the Macau branch are mediocre compared to the ones in Cameron Lane.
