We've seen a couple and I'm sure we may have supported some. Just thought of posting a warning to those who may go but don't know the full details of the benefit where you end up paying to help and have the money go to the organizers.
I remember a story of a benefit for Jun Lopito (nakwento nya lang sa akin). He didn't even get a single centavo. when he was telling me this, it seemed it happened a while back already but you can still feel how angered he was at how he was used for such scheme. nakakalungkot.
This isn't an attack to benefits. I'll say this as early as now to avoid any violent reactions. ok yang mga yan and I've played in a couple and offered my help to some as well. It's just sad to find out some people see it as a money making scheme without even giving anything to the name they put on the poster.
