trivia: he used to play a ludwig kit too!

Buddy lived on a very interesting time... there was Gene Krupa who started the drum solo craze (I think si Gene ang idol n'ung Korean drummer sa kabilang thread, his facial expressions and antics... those could only come from Gene)... then there was Joe Morello that might have popularized the odd time measure (i.e. Take Five done in 5/4 time which hit the Billboard top 10!)

It used to be open to the public for field trips, tours, etc. But now, it's open only to the Zildjian Artists.
