To those Hermin Li fanatic, careful with your S series collection installed with the ZR trem, the trem socket can't really handle much of that extreme playing, (carrying Ur guitar with the whammy bar then yanking it like what Herman is doing on those videos).

Well machine shops can replicate those arm sockets.. or you can order it in audiophile for about 320/piece if i'm not mistaken, only thing is, if a stock is available.

Well so long as they would be using a better steel material then i think it's worth it.

If the material is better, then good. The only problem is that its size isn't the same. It's close but no. Ang pagkakagawa sakin is ung thread niya medyo maluwag. Di naman pede ipagawa uli coz it would cost me again. It was close so medyo napagtiyagaan ko. Though the material is better than the stock. I had fun with it until I sold it.

well the quality of the arm socket replica depends with the person doing the job already, which of course would cost you if they don't pay much attention on every details of the socket being duplicated, Hopefully Ibanez would do something to address this problem with the ZR Trem.

+1. No need to replicate if Ibanez would fix the problem.

Indeed, besides they came out with a nice idea with the ZR trem so why won't they just make it 100% excellent.

Hence the Edge Zero. Haha. The only disadvantage of the bearings is I think less sustain.

dami palang aberya,

Its just with the trem socket where the trouble is, cause it was made out of cheap kind of metal which loosen/breaks easily, aside from that issue everything is great with the ZR trem.

Hence the Edge Zero, ZR2, SyNchroniZR and other adaptation of the ZR right?? How good are they in terms of materials?

So far the ZR trem was the only one with that kind of problem, and i haven't encountered any complaints regarding the other trems as per my research on different forums online. Another issue about the ZR trem socket is that, Ibanez has very poor support with regards to the service parts of their ZR trem...most people complains about the slow response when ordering the ZR trem socket from stores affiliated with ibanez, it take months for such orders to arrive and usually stocks are not available.
