best budget near field monitors distributed locally?

what would you recommend for a bedroom computer-based studio?  on the cheaper end of the spectrum... i'll be using them both for production and making dj mixes. i've been using hifi speakers that i've had forever a la Four Tet but I just blew the tweeters playing dubstep
