May tanong lang po ako sa mga expert tungkol sa ip


I did a forward dns  of our host company domain which also host several domains. After getting the ip of that test, i tried to reverse dns that ip. Here are the results below of the reverse dns.

208.101.51.83-static.reverse.softlayer.com <--- what is this domain? Is this the top level domain that is hosting our company domain? (It also host several domains of our company)

ang alam ko lang yan baka jan naka register ung IP mo kaya pag nagreverse DNS ka yan ang pinapakita pero to avoid confusion di ba pwede naman baguhin un name nung reverse DNS let say aaa.ph ka pwede mo magamit ung name mo as a reverse DNS kung san Domain mo sya ireregister. I'm not really sure sa answer ko kc ung work ko deals more on networking and bihira ako ma involve sa systems.

ip addresses are commonly reserved to big telcos and ISPs, kaya pag nagsubscribe ka, for example, ng gigabit pipe para sa mga servers mo (for what ever purpose), binibigyan ka ng static IP address ng provider mo. pwedeng isang IP or block ng IP Addresses. Ang kadalasang ginagawa ng mga service providers, nilalagyan na nila ng reverse DNS entry yung IP address, para mading ma-identify kung kanino originally naka-assign yung IP block na yun.
