Set your clean tone first. Tweak the amps EQ as desired. Try to get as close to "your" tone as much as you can. You'll know it when you hear it.

Then bring in the pedals, these are usually relative to your clean tone so its always a good idea to nail your clean tone first. The knobs on the pedals are also there for a reason. Tweak Em'. Hehe.

If all else fails, just rock it. Haha.

Minsan it is not just the amp's EQ. Meron distinctive character na hinahanap yung tenga mo; character mismo ng amp and yung cab design nito.

Hindi lang sa gig mai-apply mga suggestions dito, maging sa kung tutug-tog kayo sa ibang church ( mga church conventions etc.), I've also learned some lessons.

memorize the tone you're aiming for in your head. when you get to the venue, set all EQ knobs of the amp to 12'o clock then adjust until you nail the tone(both clean and dirty) you're looking for.

have a good soundcheck tune or something with your band so that you'd all be able to test everything(clean, dirty, chorus, lead tones etc.) in one go.

also, knowing how each knob of your effects pedals affect your overall tone is a big plus.

For Multi Effects user Activate yung SIM CAB and Amp Modeling sa pedal nyo and go Direct sa PA dont use that [gooey brown stuff] amp

or plug in sa return ng amp kung naka multi ka or amp sim. solb problema mo.
malas lang kung walang return. flat amp setting talaga ang puhunan mo pag ganyan para mahabol mo yung timpla ng sim mo!

CLEAN TONE MISMO! Set the amp to the clean tone you're used to then you can adjust your pedals from there

Yeah, I think having an EQ would do the job.

Kasi diba minsan hindi na pwedeng lakasan yung amp tapos yung knobs parang walang pagkakaiba pag tinimpla mo.

Para sakin, EQ is the solution. hehe I only have one EQ.

Madalas akong maka-encounter ng Marshall na may topak. So ang gagawin ko, titimplahin ko nalang sa eq tapos yung gain nung amp eh nasa 10 o'clock(I think).

Kami nagdadala kami ng amp. Marshall valvestate 8080 at Carvin 100w. pero dun lang sa suking bar namin. Pag wala, Korg ax3000g will do the trick for me.

just bring your own amp. if you want to put on a good show and that much concerned about your tone, don't gamble with random amps. a little extra effort wouldn't hurt.

major prob when we made our compo at my place then sa studio same amp gamit namen then sa gig nagiba tlga tunog im not that maselan pero gamit ko dati multifx dun ko napansin na per amp ibaiba tunog that is why i shift sa stomp dox kahit papanu di malayo tunog.... best i guess bring your amp dba...
