..I suppose madali lang i-DIY 'to. If plastic is hard to get by, pwede sigurong firm and thick rubber (like puzzle mats).

Hello Di mo kailangan lagyan ng lug lock yung bottom heads kasi di naman natatamaan ng sticks yung rim ng bottom heads. The use of the lug lock is to prevent the loosening of the tension rod pag nagririmshots ka. notice sa snare na kung saan tumatama yung stick sa rim doon lumuluwag.

hmmm... i see one disadvantage. it doesn't contribute to the overall look of the drum. pumapanget pa nga ata although yeah, maganda talaga use nya.

@ stick: tanggalin mo na lang agad pagkatapos mo tumugtog para hindi halata. 

malaking bagay yung di mo inaalala na mawawala sa tono yung snare mo sa gitna ng kanta. ako napilitan talaga ako gumawa ng paraan kasi kahit hindi ako nag ri-rimshot, nawawala pa rin sa tono. gamit ko nga pala ay firecracker... hindi na ako namomroblema sa kanya ngayon.
