HELP! HOW TO REMOVE BIOS PASSWORD! :(

my sister gave me this laptop, its a COMPAQ EVO N610c. when she gave it to me, may password na un.. "msdgenl" but when changed it.,(Im pretty sure na tama ung nilagay kong password nung pinalitan ko xa), nung nirestart ko na ung laptop ko, ayaw na gumana nung password na nilagay ko..

please tell me how to remove/reset the bios password.. ang tagal na kc na stock nung laptop ko eh.. -_- un lang ang problem ko..

dude you have the simplest problem.. its easy kung hindi ka takot buksan laptop ng sis mo.. buksan mo lang sya and look for the front side of the motherboard.. not the bottom.. meron ka makikita battery dyan.. every motherboard has a battery for  its cmos setting or bios saving.. tanggalin mo yung battery then turn on your laptop. then alakazam!!! wala na password. turn off then lagay mo ulit yung battery.. pwede rin sa jumper yan pero mas madali hanapin battery. pag kalagay mo lagyan mo ulit password then kalimutan mo ulit tapos ulitin mo lang yung ginawa mo ehehhe..

no problem sir. basta ingat ka lang sa pag bukas sir kasi baka may mga ribon or something na pwde ma putol dyan pag hindi kayo mag ingat.. just check the manual or sa goolge on how to open your laptop type mo lang yung model then kung may mga guide sya na pwde mo sundan.. if ayaw mo naman ng ganun, basta ingat ka lang sa pag bukas and be sure to collect the screw at lagay mo sa isang lugar na hindi  sila mawawala..

pag nabuksan mo na sir.. try to look at the front side yung kung saan nakaharap mga pyesa nya.. usually dun nakalagay yung battery, look for a battery .. hindi ko alam size sa laptop pero bilog sya na silver karaniwan battery sa relo. pero sige try mo muna picturan then pakita mo sakin  and be sure na isama mo yung model ng mobotherboard kung meron kang makikita sa board nya.. kung wala kahit yung model nalang ng laptop para check ko rin..

there are two passwords: sa BIOS Setup and LOG ON... alin ba sa kanila ang tinutukoy mo? or maybe you mean LOG ON password...!?

im talking about, ung mismong password pag inON mo ung PC.. pag ON mo may hinihingi agad na password..

alam ko tatanggalin mo yung battery (yung malaking bilog). not sure though.
