i was wondering how do you wire 2 pups with only 1 volume pot no tone pot ?

dude, EVH-style yang wiring na gusto mo. my Peavey EVH Wolfgangs are wired like that. walang tone knob. sa 500k pot, naka-connect sa left and right yung pickup hot wires then yung ground naka-solder sa likod din ng pot. ayos yan, pag-adjust mo ng volume, kasama na rin yung tone so napakasimple ng controls. i'll try to post a wiring diagram later, or kung di ka makahintay, research mo yung wiring ni EVH :)

+1 kay sir venusisle. the tone pots acts as a low pass filter. mas open yung tunog kasi wala ng filter (less load pati). effect - slightly louder and brighter against a guitar with tone control. :D

^ I did that to one of my guitars. I had the tone pot removed intentionally to put an EMG SPC (does that count? ala pa rin siya tone pot b d). All i can say is, that guitar has the most bada$$ tone for my type of music... Chug overload. hehehe.

panalo yan pare, the best part about this type of wiring is you can concentrate more on your playing and not too much on the controls. you want clean tone with less presence? roll back the knob. full blast? syempre lagay mo sa 10. kung may economy picking, may economy knobbing din hehe :)

just got back from HK brought the emgs to arie. i optd the EMG81/89 so i can have a single coil neck or a full blown humbucker that is very similar to the EMG 85  :lol: and yes no tone pot just 1 volume pot with push/pull for the neck pup :mrgreen:  waa excited na ako  :shock:

dein yata pare, H-S-H kasi yun e. tanungin mo si pareng kanshooter kung ano wiring ng gitara nya. PGM gitara nya diba? :)
