gusto sana kita tulungan kaso di ko maintindihan post mo eh. paki elaborate. ano brand ng router mo, anong status nung mga ilaw ng router. marami makakatulong sayo dito pero ayusion mo post mo.

just exactly how does one format wifi?  after all the troubles i went through setting up wlan at home, (complete with wpa/wpa2, psk, and all that tkip bs) formatting wifi is a new technique i never heard of until now.

what exactly is your wifi? built-in sa laptop? add-on card?

Could it be that your Wifi module got fried?

Have you tried to re-install the drivers for it? or check if it was disabled by accident?

and you're acccessing which wifi? in your house? office? free wifi in the mall? did you format your drive? did you dunk your laptop in the pool? for all you know, you might not be accessing your wifi service at all.

like i said earlier, the more info, the more we can help.

look at your computer's device manager and see if you can see any wifi device. look also in network connections and check your wireless connections. if you can't see a wifi device, try a driver reinstall. if that don't work, start thinking about hardware failure. right click on the wireless icon if you see it in the system tray. maybe running a 'repair' command will work.

mga bro help about sa wifi,kasi ung cousin ko ung laptop nya ayaw gumana ung wifi,nung una ni reinstall ko ung driver tapos ayaw pa din,then ni reformat ko na sya,ayaw pa din gumana nung wifi.. then binasa ko ung manual nya about sa wifi may nakita ko dun msi 6683 wireless lan , di nag download ako sa msi, after that hindi din gumana..hindi ko na alam ung gagawin ko dun eh.. ayun, ung laptop pala galing ng Japan then ung router (buffalo ata ung brand)not sure eh, sa bahay lang po sya, ung router gumagana naman sa mga psp .

bro subukan mo yung automatic online search ng mga drivers ng windows i-direct mo muna yung connection niya ng LAN para may internet ka

could be a driver problem. i recently installed linux on an old laptop with a wifi pcmcia card.  the card was completely dead. no lights, no anything.  then i installed a driver wrapper and loaded the proper .inf file and voila, the lights went on.  my router is also buffalo by the way.  the wifi card is a us robotics turbo card

when you say hindi gumagana, do you mean hindi nadedetect sa OS yung router?  or nadedetect at hindi ka lang makaconnect? if it's the latter then it's probably an authentication problem.  if it's the former and youve tried reinstalling all the proper drivers, it's probably a hardware problem.  keep looking though, madalas may solusyon jan.  research lang katapat

bro ayaw mag open ng wifi pag iopen mo sya,no lights .. wala talaga, diba dapat mag reresponse un pag click mo ung wifi button?.. sana walang sira ung hardware. sige mag search pa ko sa net. thank you bro!
