I've met Arie back then and he's really a professional when it comes to guitar repair, restoration, modification, etc. I've also heard a lot of good comments from his clients on how good he does his work. But with all due respect sir, that shouldn't close the doors to other people who also does professional guitar repairs, especially refretting and other neck/fingerboard repairs. We also do refretting at Guitarfix, and i know other people who does the same job. We also get our refretting tools from stewmac. we also have some custom-made tools for the job. we got all gauges of fretwire. i mean, these are all common for someone who does refretting.
Arie is good, but that doesnt conclude that other repairman "are not in the same league specially when it comes to fret jobs", unless you know and have assessed every one of them.

BTW, magkano magpa-refret sa Guitar Hospital - jap tele, maple, medium-jumbo(dunlop)?

share lang... though i haven't tried other luthiers, nakapagparefret na rin ako kay arie.... wala me angal.... maganda at malinis... yun lang...:) just wanted to share

that i can't really tell.... shempre may basis sha for the price he gave me... sabay sabay kasi yung pag ayos ko din ng action and palit ng bone saddle... so mejo mahirap i-estimate... ask him... may cel number naman eh... he replies to my texts pag may inquiries ako.... better yet, dalhin mo sa kanya para makita nya... visit his site, may contact numbers sha dun.... http://www.guitarhospital.net
