Loyalist na ata ako sa M-audio. Sabagay Ive had nothing else. Best bang for buck, glowing reviews and my own experience too with it shows it to be a very good brand.

If ever I have to move over to firewire, I think I'll go for the M-audio 410.

TASCAM na lang... di mo na kakailanganin ng mixer...

+1, i'm not a pro though, hobbyist lang ako na nagbuo ng home recording setup. so far maganda ang performance talaga sa akin ng ,m-audio. i have the fast track usb and the omnistudio usb  :-D
I write original songs in Filipino and English. Then, I record them in my room. Feel free to listen to them!

One more plus for M-audio. You can do ProTools, using the M-powered PT version. Thus when your studio grows and you have to trade files with the "Big Boys", you will be able to manage. Haven't done that yet, but I'm told that it's possible.

Digidesign and M-audio are part of the Avid family kasi.

IIRC The software engineers of M-Audio were able to crack the PT LE code so M-Audio hardware can use PT software.  That's how it started... AFAIK

if you're not using pro tools and you can spare a few bucks, then go for the RME FF800.  that's one hell of a serious tool.
