What's wrong with a band who has contributed a lot to the Philippine music scene? I mean what is the point of "others" bashing them for changing their name/career path/music? We are all entitled to our own opinion, yes that's true. Hence, they are also entitled to choose the path that they will be going to.

Yes I’m not into their music nowadays but come on, they are still Chicosci. A band that somehow, sometime made us proud to be Filipinos.

Just my 2 cents...

just curious, can you remind me of a moment that Chicosci made you proud as a filipino?

I became proud as a Filipino when they're still writing and making good songs that they can even compete sound-wise with other foreigns acts, aren't you?

Some of you may not agree but that's my view on it.

For me proud? no not necessarily.

Other bands/events have made me proud as Filipino, but not chicosci's music no.

OT: I think it's a wild goose chase for Filipino's/local acts to try to sound like foreign acts. It's also wrong to compare them to foreign acts.

Well, as for me they made me proud somehow.

Of course I'm proud of so many bands in the Philippines, not only Chicosci (Urbandub, Slapshock, Wolfgang, etc.)

What I've meant is that, their musicality back then can somehow compete with other foreigns acts same as the current bands in the pinoy music scene today. I didn't find it as a comparison but just a plain commendation.

i like paris. di ako fan ng chicosci but why do we care a lot if they play EMO? im not a fan of EMO myself but what if they really like that kind of genre/style. anyway, i think im gonna go with the first one.

i wonder what will happen if BLUES hit the streets.

baka marami rin maging anti dahil lang MAINSTREAM (at dahil kinakanta na ng kung sino sino ang mga fave blues songs natin) . oh well. wag naman sana (magkaroon ng anti-blues)..
