I think natawag sya alternative dahil nung mga time na nauso yung ROck, metal,80's na katulad ng hina crisis at Hiphop eto yung music na parang orthodox(tama b) kaya tinwag sya na alternative kze alternatibo sya. Well sa MTV ko ito nasagap..

Kumbga dat tym yung mga tao ay parang sawa na parang ito yung music na tinwag na alternative.. ang alam ko after grunge era ito...
