i know the original composer and i have played the korsakov version. i started off as a classically trained pianist before learning guitar and it is still my primary instrument. been in it for over 20 years.

I don't. get. it. that wasn't a song. i'd be speechless if the dude actually played a conventional song. thing with all these "fastest guitar player" videos is that the same lick is being done in succession just going "breeeeewweeeeewweeeeweeeewweeweeewwww." cool story bro, but where is the song? what these guys need to do is have a context to what they are playing. the thing that makes Guthrie Govan and similar guys so d@mn scary is he can be fast AND melodic AND tasteful instead of going breeeeewwweeeeeeeewwwweeeeeeewwwwwweeeewww.
