effects processor, which one?
« on: June 23, 2010, 12:24:47 AM »
should i go with a 2nd hand yamaha spx990 or a new alesis midiverb 4?

malayo ba talaga ang performance ng mga to compared to lexicon? i just heard that alesis' are user friendly.

go for the 2nd hand SPX990... comparing Yamaha SPX to Lexicon PCM "Big" difference on reverb sound and quality. I prefer Lexicon PCM's  :-)

I have been using:

Yamaha SPX90ll
Yamaha SPX900
Yamaha SPX990
Yamaha SPX2000
Lexicon PCM 80
Lexicon PCM 91
& Lexicon Model 200 (3 U size and mono)

the spx are really the cream of the crop when it comes to effects processing.  8-)

the far 2nd best for me are the lexicons.  try the lexicon mx200 for a start.  the last time i bought mine was at 11,390 srp  :-o
