I need your advice, im planning a purchase for a new firewire rig. firewire so i can still travel with it.
MOTU and ECHO has been in the business for the longest time rivaling each other but in term of stability the ECHO seems to be the pick. Ang iniisip ko lang how about the support in the philippines.
MOTU has been here for a while while ang konti ng gumagamit ng ECHO sa pinas.
BUT echo sports its high end pre amp on 2 channels and the 6 other universal preamps also found in their audiofire 8s and 4s plus adat which is great compared to motu's 2 preamps and 6 analog line ins nlng plus adat. so interms of ready to use channels for micing ehco lamang
One more thing is the price tags on these equipments. ECHO is $100 cheaper than MOTU.
