I cant get any sound!!! Its hard getting a simple midi file uploaded to the program and if by some miracle I do,,,then how do I edit the damned thing? All I want is asimple program where I can edit my midis (maybe change the instrument or mute an instrument) THEN RECORD FOR BACKING!!!!!

What do you mean by it's hard to upload a midi file? I just drag a midi into an empty space in Sonar, then just add the TTS-1 softsynth if I want to audition the file (in GM, of course).

Can't stress this enough... get an expensive piece of software and just spend a little time reading the getting started portion of the manual.
