« on: April 22, 2011, 07:09:04 AM »
after digitally mastered my song, my FM DJ friend played it on air. the intro was so good...but when all of the instruments rigged in, the sound went low. everytime na may bagsakan, humuhina. whats wrong? i went with all the good technique in compressing and limiting during mastering is there something wrong with my compression? can anybody  give me some advise? thanks

The FM processors are compressing the loud p[arts a bit more kaya humihina.  YTou have to balance your mix not based on loudness or intensity but on frequency perception (mid frequencies are perceived as loud as our ears hear it that way).  FM processors are normally tri-band.  The react to only three segments of the spectral band, not multi.  Hope this helps.
