I heard ginagawa yan sa mga old slr's, pero pag dslr ang gamit mo and bago pa ang lens, baka masira lang and body or lens. In my oppinion, better to buy a macro lens nalang.

ive done a method of a diy macro lens. hehe if mejo machaga kaw try mo to challenging to. masaya =)

ganito ginawa ko. i went to a garage sale and naghanap ako ng binoculars na for sale. and luckily got one good cheap vintage binoculars na ok pa ung lens. tas pag uwi ko binaklas ko yung binoculars para matanggal ko yung dalawang lens. then i taped them together using electrical tape. so now i have 2 lens na pinagpatong right? so the next thing i did was hooked up my kit lens di ko lang matandaan if it was a Canon ef 28-35 pero di na lalayu sa ganung sukat un. so yun then i used my Canon EOS kiss (film-slr ) tas i focused sa sbuject tas yung diy macro lens ko tinutok ko sa tapat ng kit lens ko then naka manual ako tapos atras abante nlng sa subject tasadjust lang sa focus ring till makuha mo yung malinaw na view then click! yun na. mejo mahirap at challenging but hey its photography creativity must come out first before you take a shot not take a shot before having your creativity juice out. try it =)

Heres the result: Rose

heres another one, mejo mas mahirap to i guess.
in this process i used 2 lens kasi. isang Canon ef 100-200 and my kit lens. so parang same lang nung process sa unang diy macro lens na ginawa ko kaso this one imbes na yung binocular lens ang nakatutok sa nakakabit na lens. ang ginawa ko is ganito, first nilagay ko yung zoom lens (100-200)  ko kinabit ko un sa body (Canon EOS kiss) then tinutok ko sa harap ng nakakabit na lens yung rear or likod ng stock lens ko. so ganito kinalabasan nun.

Heres the result: inside a Gumamela

i hope nakatulong ako. =)

me nabasa ko sa isang magazine. kelangan mo ng zoom lens(ex. 55-200mm) + prime lens(ex. 50mm) + reverse mount.  :-D

yup pwede. pwede mo siyang i try ngayon tangalin mo yung lens baliktarin mo then try to move it back and fort toward from your subject hangang sa may ma focus kang part. kaso ayun nga it might catch dust pag ginagawa mo yun. you can buy reverse rings for that :D

Full manual, start with 1/200 shutter, work your way up or down depending on the exposure.
Move back and forth for focusing.
You can't adjust your f stop since the camera can't "read" the lens.
You only have a small margin for focusing.

Sharpness depends on the glass you're using.
Watch out for dust.
Photography takes up experimentation.
Have fun. lol.

yep.. bili ka lang ng reverse ring.. 400petot.. then para di risky sa dust yung rear end pwede ka bumili nito..

http://www.tayhua.com/filterring.html

800 + UV filter 150php + reverse ring 400 = 1350php

then kung gusto niyo mag shoot pwede natin i-set..  :-D wag lang Sunday..

You can also try using an extension tube, around Php500 lang ata yung ganun

focus can be achieved by going to and from the subject. Aperture setting is manual

unlike sa reverse ring, you dont expose your rear element (yung salamin na pinakamalapit sa body ng cam pag naka kabit ng maayos) to wind and dust, in a way, mas sensitive kasi yung surface nyan compared sa front element na usually may protective coating.

You can also use a macro lens adapter but I don't think you can get as good a result if your using a reverse ring or an extension tube.

of course you can always use a dedicated macro lens, pero option lang naman yun.

Ang mahal kaya!  :-D
