yung actives signature niya tunog na tunog JB din hahaha! mas malakas lang. Pinakamaganda talaga JB sa mahogany. Kahit sa alder ok na ok.

Noob question: What pickups that have a GOLD COVER will you recommend (except for the EMG Actives that has gold pickup covers/version)? Or, what pickups mentioned above would you recommend that can still be a 'pickup for the metal' even though it will be covered soon(for open coiled pups such as, JB, sh-6, etc.)? Inputs would be much appreciated. TIA! :)
How can you tell a person whether the band he or she listens to is RIGHT or WRONG?

Using BKP Painkillers on my 7 and Custom 81-85 on an LP. They both sound good, but still offer different things. Passive is still more versatile IMHO but active pickups really own for just puro chug metullz.

yung Sh6 kasi pag tiningnan mo eq curve niya and output, para siyang pinatinding SH4. With More mids and highs. nakasubok na ako basswood na gitara na may sh4. Medyo hindi pa focused yung tunog kasi medyo kulang yung mids ng sh4. siguro mas ok sh6 kasi mas cutting ang tunog niya. combine mo pa sa low mid-mid quality ng basswood, i guess bagay din.

pinaka okay na duncan for basswood in my opinion ay invader SH8 at alt8 SH15.

for the neck position anu maganda na PUPs? I'm using an LTD EC50, at basswood din yung body, napansin ko ren kasi dahil sa thread na to na iba output ng PUPs depending sa body ng guitar. So far for the bridge namimili pa ako sa Invader SH8 or Alt8 SH15.
