« on: August 07, 2011, 09:46:15 PM »
okay so lets say i want to use 3 sets of different speakers for monitoring, how would i connect these 3 sets of speakers to my audio interface if my interface has only 1 set of outputs? like for example 1 monitors speakers and 1 desktop speakers then bookshelf speakers.

Looks like a simple multi-throw switch - I don't trust cdrking to incorporate a speaker protection system in that gadget. Turn down the volume when switching speakers, or make sure the speakers are off (if they're powered) before switching to them. If not, get to know a nearby re-cone specialist.

this is a little bit more fancy

Numinipis daw ang tunog ng monitor dyan. Acceptable ba yun? (i.e., madadaan ba sa simpleng paglakas ng volume or gain, to compensate?)

Check out the Radial MC3. It has A/B outputs, with master level control, mono switches, 2 headphone outs, Sub options, and an extra aux stereo outs. (Also, phase control for subs, and dim control)

No, this will not work. If you read TS post the need is for the single output to be sent to multiple speakers, so the device should accept a single input and have multiple outputs. Looking closely at the device, it has multiple inputs and single output, the complete opposite of what's needed.

I would suggest this instead:

though I don't know if its available locally.  :?

Upgrade to an audio interface with more outs.
You can also get a behringer mini amp  - its a 4 channel headphone amp but does have multiple line outs as well. This can feed to your monitors.
