hmm... If I understood it correctly, you want something that sounds like a Tone Zone at 500k, and still sounds like a Tone Zone at 250k.

That's kinda hard. Changing the pot value from 500 to 250 would make it warmer sounding. I haven't heard of a pickup that sounds the same on both 250 and 500k pots.

Tone Zone + 500k pot = X + 250k

why not just go ahead with the TZ + 250K pots? or maybe the Air Zone para mas balanced ng kaunti with single coils.

thanks for the reply sirs...

Tumingin ako sa DiMarzio site, meron sila parang Treble,Mid,Bass rating nung mga pups nila, and based on the numbers, parang Evo 2 bagay saken

opinions mga sir?

I'd be willing to gamble on it, but that's just me. I've played a mahogany bodied guitar with a Tone Zone. Before even touching it I had already judged it to sound really muddy. After a few strums, as far as pickups go to this day, I had never been so wrong.

A possible compromise would be to have a 500K + 250K pot combo. That's what I do with one of my guitars.

500k pot with .047 tone cap will result to a more flat eq..but having A250k pot and a .02 or .022cap will result to a more clearer and thicker cleans with the tone zone..they try it split coil for variation...

@poink27, if you're concerned on your sound getting muddy at 250k + tone zone. I suggest mag-duncan JB ka na lang. It matches well with single coils.
