Small Size Powered Subs
« on: December 28, 2011, 10:35:38 AM »
Can you recommend me a small sized powered subs that can be used for home audio/video? I tried looking at the home audio subs but they were just not loud enough. Their focus was being "deep" as Home theater movies sound good in "deep" but its just not loud enough for me.

In this regard, do you guys know a small powered subs that can play loud?

My budget is around 50k

By the way, I tried the following home subs:

a) SVS PB10
b) SVS PB12
c) SVS SB12
d) M&K subs (forgot the model but worth 40k)
e) M&K subs (forgot the model but worth 90k)
f) Velodyne Impact 10
g) Velodyne Impact 12
h) Velodyne CHT12

Being the low-price connoisseur, I would recommend CROWN brand subwoofers. They're not that small, in fact they look like coffee tables. But if your walls are made of wood, they will rattle and rumble once you fire these up. Costs less than 6k.

i would recommend the EV ELX118P these are pro subwoofers used in clubs and sound reinforcement, it plays low enough and loud enough to blow you away for a home theatre setup cost around 50K@ yun lang kasing laki sya ng 1 personal ref
