Been more than 2 years since I posted this. Been looking for a good place in the house to build this. Decided to convert the bookshelf into this.

Finished it late last year but was able to find time only this weekend to take some picture of it.

Kind of OT but still related ... if you want to build this kind of rack, a dehumidifier of some sort is mandatory.

If you look at the picture closely, you'll see some molds starting to germinate. Silica gel is a must to protectyour toys.  Imagine that for a span of just 2 weeks, molds started to build up from within the rack!

Best you put it in hard cases. Then maybe you can build a closet for it. I wouldn't expose my guitars just like that.

Of course, hard case is still the best way to store your guitar. Kaya lang, if you accummulate 3 or more guitars, dami mo kailangang case

Mga sirs, need your help kung saan pwede magpagawa or magpa-customize ng guitar racks. Looking for something that can protect and at the same time act as display rack for my gears.

Looking for something like this but with glass shielding to protect the guitars from dust:

i like being able to see my guitars everyday rather than have em in their cases. nababantayan ko din kung kailangan punasan, alagaan ang strings.  (I have my guitars on diy hanging racks)- plus you're always inspired to practice cause they're easily accessible.

Exactly my reason for building this, for accessibility

At tsaka kung nakikita mo, para kang laging kinakawayan na gamitin sila.

no, it's a portable rack, so kung may gigs ka, ilagay mo lahat ng guitars mo dun sa stage para kuha nalang agad if ever

Yes, I understand that part. So if you have 6 guitars, they will have separate hard cases. Then akala ko, all 6 can be tuck into one big case. And that one big case will also act as your portable rack. Gulo ko

I think Coffin Case had something like that a while back. Saw it in an old issue of Revolver.
