nahihilig kasi akong makinig ngaun ng bossa nova...

ito mga artist na pinapakingan ko ngaun:
Astrud Gilberto
Lisa Ono
SONIA

may marerecommend pa ba kau na magagaling na artist?

baden powell... and his son's recording.. authentic sila because they are using flamenco style fusing bosso nova...

do add Luis Bonfa and Maria Toledo to your list....  Its worth tracking down the album BRAZILIANA by Luis Bonfa, now that album was beautiful.....  Sadly, its only available on 33" vinyl (plaka!!!)   Also Charlie Byrd and Stan Getz....  They did a nice Bossa Nova album.....

The best thing for you to do is to buy an album that features various artists. Tapos dun ka pumili kung ano o sino ang kursunada mong artist.
Very subjective ang music kaya mas maganda yung mas madaming options sa isang album.

i only have byrd and getz' jazz samba album.. cant help comparing it to joao and getz duo. just me, pero mas gusto ko si getz pag kasama nya si joao.

If you like instrumentals, I would recommend Manfredo Fest. A blind man, he plays Korg (electric keyboard/piano) and has a touch of Jobim. Too bad he died a few years back.

mahirap i DL yan sir...pero may mga nikikita akong orig CDs...meron din akong nakikitang mga hard to find na bossa nova but pirated sa japan pa galing...kaya lang mhal din 150...

...pero mas maganda parin ung orig! :-)

i have a baden powell dvd about his life. grabe! ang lupit talaga!!!!

i have his son's cd. it's also pretty good but it didnt strike me the way his father's playing did.
