Ahhh i see. I am looking on versatility and price point comparison. Zoom ms50g pesos + DI box pesos = Zoom G3 pesos na kase.

+1 sa G3. Sa dami lang ng magagawa mo, sulit na sulit na. May effects ka na, may audio interface at amp modeler ka pa. Ni-retire ko na nga yung pedalboard ko pero naiwan yung G3 (at isang dirt box for emergencies). Ginagamit ko pa rin siya for recording not only guitar tracks, but synths/keys and vocals as well.

I think mas okay kung isang proper "amp in a pedal" ang gagamitin mo parang yung ethos amp (see posts of Ms. Barbie) or yung "box of amps" something na nakita ko dito. Or maybe an amp sim from the likes of the zoom MS-50G.

just posting based from what I read as I always play with an amp. Pero may bad monkey ako dati, ginagamit ko lang yung mixer out pag nagcifra ako sa headphones.

Try mo muna mga cheap preamp+cab pedalls like Behringer GDI-21, baka magustuhan mo, pag mejo ok na sayo pero nakulangan ka pa, try mo naman yung mga Sansamp products... pero kung ako sayo bili ka na lang multi-effects na may amp ang cab sims, mas tipid pa ata, ok na yung Zoom G5

Nagamit mo na ba yung GDI-21? Okay din ba yung clean signal niya? Thanks paps!

I went through countless ideas straight to mixer
At the end what works for me is axe fx 2 as my main rig or for a smaller set up jamup by positive grid using my iphone! Or ipad

Kung meron kang iPad, download the free JamUp App, buy the JamUp plug, then yun ang gamitin mong amp and cab simulator sa pedals mo.

Okay din sana to pero as much as possible I want to stick with a pedal muna siguro. Nagdownsize din kasi ako kaya iwas sa madaming setup Salamat sir!

Forgot the JamUp! sobrang convincing din nito TS! very impressed with this lalo na sa BIAS na app!

Oo nga! I've tried the BIAS and JamUp maganda talaga pero medyo madami kasi kinakabit haha!

More than an amp sim, you need a DI with cab simulator.

Do you have a specific pedal in mind sir? Or example: SanSamp GT2 + DI box? Thanks sir!

the sansamp is nice yes. pero tama rin sila na kung ayaw mo ng maraming kinakabit for the jamup, the G3 is your best choice.

Mga Sirs, you all are clearing the path! Now I'm thinking to go to the SanSamp route, medyo nakakalito lang kung si GT2 ba or Character pedals? I wish I have the budget to try them all first haha! I'm also reviewing the Joyo Character clones, I've heard okay din daw, wala daw masyado pagkakaiba. Totoo kaya? Hehe

I plan to use it as a 'clean amp' lang talaga. I'll put it at the end of the chain to act as an 'amp'. It'll be awesome to hear your thoughts about these pedals! Thanks again guys for all your help! Ayos!

Wala pa sa options ko yung multi effects eh, medyo matagal ko kasi binuo yung pedalboard para talaga sa tunog na gusto ko hehe! Imagine me saying goodbye to those babies! haha!

pero IMHO, the latest multieffects sounds close to natural na, so baka may misconception ka pa nung "digital sound" dahil lumang models yung mga multi na natry mo. my advice is to test the zoom g3 or ms50g muna. pag ayaw mo talaga, game, sansamp na or any analog amp in a box.

try using the presets muna bro kung hirap ka gamitin.

the digital amp sims have come a long way. pati nga noise at hum ineemulate na rin. just remember to tweak it through a mixer and not a guitar amp. sa dulo mo ilagay parang pedalboard lang bago mag amp.

kung trip mo mas hassle pero ayos pa rin ang tunog, yung iPad/iPhone apps, or bitbit ka ng laptop na may Guitar Rig or Amplitube (but be careful with latency issues).
