How do you plan to connect the mixer to your computer? (i'm assuming computer based recording sya).

Might be better to get a proper USB interface.

Any specific reason why you need the CAD CM217? I can see they cost $49 for a buy-one-take-one-free deal, which may be your primary reason for choosing them, but they are small diaphragm condensers which can have limited usage for vocal recordings.
Sonar 4.04PE/5.2PE/7.02PE/8.31 PE, Project 5 v2.5.1, EmulatorX 1.5, Cubase SL2, Ableton Live 7.14,  Intel Q6600 MSI P43 Neo 4Gb Crucial Ballistix Tracer DDR2-800, Emu 1820m, Yamaha DSP Factory, Terratec DMX 6fire

Small diaphragm condensers (SDC) are best used as overhead stereo mics for drums. You will still need something for the kick 'cause an SDC isn't enough to handle the bass frequencies. I've seen setups where 2 overhead condensers and a kick drum mic was used, but the mics for those were... uhmm... Earthworks.
