Guitar nut sculpting and electronics

So.. I know many luthiers have different specialties. One is generally better that the other in this, or that work.

This is not a "who is the best luthier" thread. I read that many luthiers (here and aborad) fall short in creating stable, consistent nuts. Im just looking for your recommendation on who you would recommend to setup my guitar:

Primary job: Raise action in the nut (for slide playing)
Side job: My strat's tone is getting thinner, and there are lots of noise now than ever before. May need some shielding/grounding/etc.

Any recommendations guys?

Iniwan ko kay arie a few days ago pareng joe for setup, check narin daw niya pickups. Pero mukhang wala sa gitara eh, nasa outlets sa nilipatan kong bahay yata naggagaling yung noise.
