I got it from Barnes and Noble while I was in Dallas:





I think you can easily get this from ebay.  I don't know if there are local shops who have this.

this is a great book. the best part for me is the gene krupa solo, which I can't play! hehehehe!

I only have two.

1. Tommy Igoe's Groove essential Play along book



2. Alfred's Beginning Drumset Method



I have not read past page 11 of Alfred's, and that is after more than a year. My skills never improved.

I have not tried Igoe's yet, my skills doesn't permit to.

meron bang local na tommy igoe book?  I tried the play-along from his website and they are really good for practice.

sa'n magandang magpunta to buy drum books here in the Philippines?  Are there Pinoy drummers who published their own methodology or tutorial?

Got both books at Singapore. They also have the 2 DVD set (Basic Drumming and Groove Essentials) of Igoe.

If you have a friend in Singapore you can ask them to get you a copy from Sweelee at Bras Basah Complex.

Sir long weekend ako sa May 1 - 4. I can bring along my snare, test and review mo. Para matuto ako ng snare classification.
