carbon fiber speaker cabinets

they're lighter and they use it for car audio systems...anybody tried it for guitar amplification?

I used to have one!


It's an A.R.T. Attack module Hybrid ( 12ax7 preamp) amplifier. It was very lightweight. I also had the matching extension cab. It was super portable and Loud enough for small venues. I just found it lacking a bit of low end because of the small speakers( 4 X 8's).

But there's a 12" version and i bet that would sound better.

Ah the other model is just a single 12" combo. If i remember correctly, it's an ART attack module T12. I saw one displayed at Audiophile pioneer 10 years ago hahaha :eek:

CF won't sound like traditional cabinets. From what i understand, they are great for Micing but sound awful on their own.
