It's heavy metal fatigue.                                                                                                      Postlude.

don't know if the TS is still looking but i'll still pitch in

got a Nobels ODr-1 a while back and i never looked back ever since... i read somewhere ,before i bought it that its a great pair for teles  :money:

Its very transparent doesn't really alters a guitar's characteristics, it still sounds like a tele but i like that it fattens-up the lows making it defined while the spectrum/tone knob lets you sculpt the treble and mids w/o cutting any bass

its one of the gears i have that i dont see myself selling anytime soon or ever to be perfectly honest  :)

have you tried Visual Sound's Open Road?

It's been getting a lot knack for the past 2-3 years. It's been getting A/B's against bowteek pedals and pitted against its brother the VS808.

I disposed my OCD and got a visual sound instead, and I used to dislike them Jeckyl & Hyde which gave a bad impression on my taste.

here's an open discussion I just found...specifically focusing on a tele and overdrive pairing...i hope it helps.

SL Drive is an amp-in-a-box, meant to approximate the Marshall Super Lead amp's tone. So I would not call it transparent.

Yes, a TS works with a germ fuzz (so does a KOT, from my little experience). Mellows out a screechy fuzz and gives it some thick body/mids and makes it more pleasant.

might i add that it also depends on the kind of amp you will be using...
a twin reverb by fender would be enough...hell, that's how i do it... but if my amp is a marshall, say jcm900, then an SD-1 would be more appropriate..

but that's just me...

ahh i see. pero mas prefer ko yung nag cclean up nicely pag ni roll back yung vol ng guitar. and as far as i heard and read, TS type pedals don't clean up as well as others. with that in mind, minamata ko na yung Mooer Pure boost  or Blues crab. Opinions?

hUh?

TS doesn't clean up nicely?

with much respect i beg to differ.

i couple with it with a cheap equalizer to give me the nice clean tone.

wat rig po gamit mu po boss?

ahh okay. yung mga na try ko kasi, pag nilower yung vol knob. its not as crisp and clear as i'd like it to be.

right now simple lang, Guitar (squier strat) - DanElectro vibe - GE fuzz face - cheap OD (boston od-100) - Wah- Reverb. - Orange Amp Crush 20dlx

di po pala tayo nagkakalayo ng rig:

yamaha pac112xj (modified) - joyo tuner - sd - ts808 - bb9 - boston eq - boston chorus --> amp...
