Maraming salamat po. mga ka Philm.

No need for a humidifier. Just keep the guitar in the case and store it in a room that has reasonable temperature.
I own several japanese guitars made in the 70s and early 80s and i never had any problems with them.

i used to hang my guitars in my room (a/c and enclosed) and used to scatter dehumidifiers all around. ok naman siya, but since it's dry during the summers, there's not much of a need kung di naman lagi lumalabas sa kwarto.

it helps during the rainy season though  :)

i don't think you'll ever need a humidifier in the Philippines unless siguro sobrang lakas at lagi naka-on ang aircon. but still, i don't think it ever goes below 25% ang humidity sa Pinas to need a humidifier.
much more likely you'll need a dehumidifier specially sa rainy season.

Eto na yun.

San nakakabili? You can find both at those japan-japan stores sa paborito mong mall.(wag lang yung mga super pang sosyal na mall na dapat nakataxi ka para marating mo ng di naglalakad.)

Air conditioning units also function as dehumidifiers.
That's why merong tulo pa-palabas ang mga aircon: that is all the moisture that's been removed (via condensation)
from the air in your room.

Air conditioning aside...
If you have a decent hardcase, a few sachets of dessicant will do for as long as the hardcase is sealed. Upon first
exposure to rainy-season humidity will rapidly saturate the dessicant, and then it can become a focus for mold
(kasi many dessicants are partly-organic --some are even starchy)

... so if you're putting a guitar away for storage na matagalan in a good hardcase, okay ang dessicant sachets, but
if you are going to be opening and closing the case weekly or more often, useless ang dessicant.
