Noise Supressor Help!
« on: October 07, 2014, 05:20:28 PM »
Hello PM! im trying to record using amp with mic. maingay kasi yung amp at nag hum. okay ba gamitin yung MICROHD HD400 hum destroyer o noise supressor talaga dapat ang gamitin ko?

Thanks again lolwat

If you've decided on acquiring a noise gate, the Mooer Noise Killer might interest you. Great price, very effective and it doesn't take up too much space. I think I got it for around 2.5k brand new if I'm not mistaken.

Have you tried recording a track already?
That always happens to me when I'm recording with single coil guitars. But when I start playing,it doesn't bother me. With other instrument tracks added into the mix, I don't really notice it anymore.  :)

What I know about hum is that it starts from the pickups..
Then your distortion will amplify the hum from your pickups. Kaya nag iingay..

Pag ganyan, noise suppressor pedal will do. Pero suggest ko ay ilagay mo yan right after ng gitara mo.
Not between the amp and your distortion pedal.

Sa ganitong paraan, namamaximize parin ang signal mo from distortion to amp. Kasi kapag after ng distortion yan, mapapansin mo na may volume swell yan..
