Just a question for those na nakapagtry ng klon, how does it differ from a Timmy?
About to get one din kasi. Baka maging redundant if I get both

Timmy's can be very transparent. To the point that in certain setups you'll wonder if it adds anything to your tone at all. LOL.
Max out the gain and it becomes--for lack of a better term--hairy.

The Klon is also relatively transparent (compared to a TS circuit) but the flattish EQ has a few bumps in the high mids that makes it clearer and more articulate but not ngongo. Maxed out gain also gets a bit hairy.

Best application for the Klon/e IMO is goosing a main distortion pedal after it. Volume cranked, Gain low (cleanish boost). Tone to taste. It's very neat surprise kasi you'd expect any other overdrive/boost in that setup to add nothing but MUDDY MUSH.
On the other hand the Klon/e will add thickness but your notes will be very clear and articulate at the same time.

i have SF, Glove and east river.

yup shortage na sila. yun sa kin nabili ko sa online seller sa china, 30 units inorder nya last one napunta sa kin, lucky me. is it worth the hype? YES! definitely.

SF vs EP Booster - EP (old version i have before) too much boost, if turn it down you'll sound like aan amp with thick blanket, mas ok pa  wala. BUT, its pretty usable if you want to get heard, mahirap din marinig kung 2 guitar + keys. I find it a bit too much tho. SF  it bumps the signal of your chain, EP doesnt, its better than boost n buff . transparent too. the drive i think is pretty sweet,  i like it best boosting amps crunch. not farty.

SF vs Arc effects Klone - i dont know how close Klone is to the real Klon but SF is close to Klone at 1 setting. Klone have 2, standard and bass boost, close yun SF sa standard, a bit more gain and slightly brighter. Klone is rounder, it feels better too and bumps the signal better than SF. but standalone it needs help. This is where SF (i think) has the advantage, you can use SF alone and roll the gain up.

SF cons - its supplied with a 9.6v adaptor, 200ma. it drains your battery fast so you need to take its psu. the innards is definitely China made, reminds me of modtone and artec. housing is also made in china, may sticker. the seller thinks SF is OEM, then EHX stamped their sticker. reliability? no idea.

btw, Glove is a dark sounding od so SF brightens it up, killer combo.

I have tried the ktr, meh.  ma-mids yun ecstacy malayo sa fuchs which is a dumble inspired amp. malayo din sa dumkudo which is a dumble inspired pedal. i like the dumkudo better. i dont know if klon is dumble in a box, it also doesn't sound like my fuchs . i really dont know which one is closest to a real dumble lol

No it's not. The klon/e is its own thing.
