Here's mine, made out of reclaimed wood from a broken table, duct tape, Velcro and wood glue. I used a power drill for the holes and a handsaw to cut the pieces and wood glue to put them together. Cable clips to keep it neat :)
I only had to buy the cable clips handle and Velcro while the rest are just available at home, I borrowed the drill. The daisy chain input jack is permanently installed in the board near the handle, the extra space is for attaching my onespot type psu which has velcro also. Whole real estate is no more than a bond paper
